Activities for Families

Hear-Say for the Family is a Thursday evening supper program for families. Come and share in the fellowship of the table, meet your friends and make new ones, build connections that bind our families together in Christian community. We gather for supper at 5:45 pm and finish in time for children to participate in the music programs that begin at 6:30 pm. Starts September 10th.

Seder Supper: Our annual Seder Supper takes place on Maundy Thursday, April 1st 2010, where we gather as a congregational family and celebrate in the Jewish tradition of a Seder. All are welcome.

Other Fun Events: There are social events throughout the year. The Sunday School and Church year starts off with the picnic, after the service on the first Sunday following Labour Day, Sunday, September 13th. The first Sunday in Advent, November 29th there's Advent Happening where more than 80 families get together to make gingerbread houses and have lunch.

Greeters: Do you like to meet new people? Well, then, you may want to consider being a Sunday Morning Greeter. This is a new and exciting, not to mention fun, program that started in the fall of 2008, where individuals and families (including grandparents) greet people coming into the Sanctuary at both entrances prior to the service. Anyone can be a part of this program – everyone is welcome to participate!
