SCOUTING: The Scouting co-ed program includes Beavers (ages 5 - 7), Cubs (ages 8 - 11), Scouts (ages 11 - 14), and Venturers (ages 14 +). For more information regarding Scouting, please contact the church office at 613-733-3156 ext 229.

GUIDING: Registration for the Girl Guides: Sparks (Sr. K & Grade 1), Brownies (Grades 2 & 3), Guides (Grades 4,5,6), Pathfinders (Grades 7,8,9), Sr. Branches (Grades 10,11,12) will be held here on Thursday, September 10th from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Please note: Only Sparks & Brownies have their meetings at the church.

SELF HELP GROUPS: Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meet Monday evenings at 8:00 pm at the church throughout the year. For info, please call 613-237-6000.

FOOD BANK COLLECTIONS are made the first Sunday of each month. Donations may be placed in the box outside the east Sanctuary door.

PLAYTIME FOR YOUNG CHILDREN: This playgroup meets through the year on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30 - 11:30 am. We welcome newborns to kindergarten age to share some unstructured play and conversation. Through their time together, the children learn much needed social skills and parents/caregivers gain a support network of others in a similar situation. Toys are provided and attendance is free. Drop in and enjoy the fellowship!

GROUP FOR FRIENDS: This is both a fun and a support group for physically or mentally challenged people aged 18 to 40. It meets at Rideau Park for events such as dances and movie/pizza nights. It is organized by Bill and Anne MacMillan (613-731-1732).

UNITED CHURCH SINGLES: This city-wide group of adults ages 30+ meets here in Beecroft Hall several times throughout the year on a Saturday night. For more information, please contact Ruby Elver (613-828-4564).

PASTORAL CARE: Rev. Elizabeth Bryce is a pastoral care volunteer at Ridgemont High School. Elizabeth is available to staff and students as well as the school community as needed.

CARLETON CHAPLAINCY: Rideau Park helps provide volunteers and baking to the Exam Pause Table at Carleton University in December and April. New volunteers are always welcome!
