SUMMARY:SAOC Collection of Personal Care Items

DESCRIPTION: The Social Action and Outreach Committee is collecting personal care items for various community houses in Ottawa South. We are accepting drop-off donations throughout the month – just pop them in the plastic bin at the top of the stairs by Beecroft Hall. In addition we will be holding an in-person collection on Monday, July 29 from 1-3pm. Blair Court needs include: liquid hand soap and body wash; deodorant and toothbrushes for teens, women and men; dental floss; baby/kids shampoo; laundry soap (large boxes can be divided); dish soap; scouring sponges; and all purpose cleaner. School supplies needed include: geometry sets; scientific calculators; binders and dividers; graph paper; pens, pencils, pencil sharpeners and erasers; glue sticks; planners/agendas; and fine tip markers. Each month we will be supporting a different community house as follows: July: Blair Court Community House June: Russell Heights Community House May: Confederation Court Community House
