DESCRIPTION: Personal Care Items and School Supplies Needed! The Social Action and Outreach Committee is expanding collection of needed items to include school supplies as well as personal care items, for our August and September collections. Personal care items include but are not limited to: soap, shampoo, hair conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products (excluding tampons) toilet paper, Kleenex, and child and adult diapers. School supplies include but are not limited to: backpacks (no logos), blunt scissors, geometry sets, pencil crayons, crayons, calculators, lined paper packages, notebooks, pencil cases, rulers. We will be at Rideau Park, in the parking area outside Beecroft Hall on Cunningham, between 1 and 3 PM on Monday, September 26 with our car trunks open. Hope to see you there. Should you be unable to bring your donations on the Monday, we invite you to drop off both personal care items and school supplies - as well as non perishable grocery items for HEFC - in either of the two boxes – one in the Beecroft entrance and one in the entrance beside the Tiny Library, at any time.
