Welcome to Rideau Park United Church

Rideau Park United Church is a vibrant faith community that seeks to embody a loving God as revealed in Jesus Christ. We recognize that, in order to reflect God’s love and grace, and to faithfully follow in the path of Jesus, we are called to honour all God’s children for their unique gifts, and to promote peace, social justice and a healthy environment as we work together to deepen our own spiritual growth. We share in worship, prayer and learning, and we offer care and support to all, including those of diverse ages, abilities, gender identities and sexual orientations, races ethnicities, religions, and economic backgrounds. All are invited to participate fully, with mutual respect, in the life and work of the church.

Due to rising numbers of Covid-19 in the region, Council Executive is suspending in-person attendance at Sunday worship until further notice. The Sunday morning worship services will continue to be livestreamed.

Rideau Park United is using a variety of ways to communicate in this time of physical separation. Click here to view ways to connect with us.

In May 2019, Rideau Park United Church voted to become an Affirming Ministry, as it is understood in the United Church of Canada. Affirm United / S’affirmer Ensemble works for the full inclusion of people of all gender identities and sexual orientations in the United Church of Canada and in society.

We acknowledge with respect the history, spirituality, and culture of the Indigenous peoples of Canada, and their stewardship of the unceded Algonquin land where this church is built.
