Facilities For Rent

Rideau Park offers several attractive and versatile rooms that can be used effectively for many types of events. For details about rental fees, equipment & furniture, hours of availability, services available, contracts, etc., please contact the Church Administrator at 613-733-3156, extension 229. A description of the rooms follows:

Beecroft Hall

This is one of our largest rooms, measuring 40’ by 55’. Beecroft can seat up to140 people banquet-style, 200 theatre-style, 100 classroom-style and 120 cafe-style. It has WiFi access. It has exceptional natural light, new flooring, and a stage with curtains. It is wheelchair-accessible via an elevator. It has immediate access to a large, well-lit, recently refurbished kitchen with industrial-sized stove and refrigerator, two sets of double sinks, microwave, a large dishwasher, and excellent work surfaces.

Brackenridge Hall

Brackenridge is located in the lower level of the Church, accessed by a short flight of steps or elevator. It measures 55’ by 31’. The room can seat up to 100 people theatre-style, 70 classroom-style or 80 cafe-style. It has good natural light and access to washrooms on the same level. It has carpet, making it particularly comfortable for exercise and yoga classes, and children’s groups. It is immediately adjacent to public rest rooms, down a couple of steps.

The Classrooms

There are four classrooms in the lower level of the Church, accessed by a short flight of steps or elevator. They are excellent as break-out rooms, used in conjunction with one of our larger rooms, or for small, private meetings. The rooms vary in size. The capacity of the smallest room is 10 to 15 people, and the largest room can hold up to 60 people theatre-style. Each room receives good natural light and is carpeted.

The Balcony

This area is accessible from Beecroft Hall via stairs, so it is not wheelchair-accessible. This is a newly refurbished, well-lit, private meeting space. It can hold approximately 10 to 12 people, ideal for book clubs or youth groups.
