VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for the Christmas Treasures Bazaar…
What area would YOU like to help with this year? Many hands make light work! Our full slate of Area Convenors (click here) will be happy to assign a shift to suit your schedule for Bazaar Day on November 2, or the weekdays and evenings leading up to the big day, starting Wednesday, October 30.
- Teens and pre-teens: We have jobs for YOU, come and collect Bazaar volunteer hours – see our sign-up sheets at the Welcome Lunch on Sunday, September 8.
- Readers: Save your books (all genres in good condition). Bring them in anytime, starting NOW; drop off at Beecroft entrance on the metal shelving.
- Crafters: Keep your hands busy making fine handicrafts.
- Fall preserves – boil up those jams, jellies, pickles and relishes.
- Green-thumbs: Split or slip houseplants now and plant in pots to donate.
- House organizers: Save gently used items – games, puzzles, toys, books, small sports equipment (but not snow sports), small kitchen appliances, kitchen gadgets, costume jewelry, linens, fine china, everyday dishes and Christmas-themed decorations, dishes, towels, etc.
