Join us for the Social Action and Outreach Committee’s “Lunch and Learn” with Multifaith Housing Initiative on March 15 at 11:45am. The current story in Ottawa is that thousands of individuals and families are without permanent homes or adequate temporary living facilities. How do you make a change? Come and find out from our speakers for the Multifaith Housing Initiative’s United Church Board representative, Sue Smarkala, and the Manager of Community Engagement and Volunteers, Sahada Alolo.

Multifaith Housing Initiative exists for one purpose: we want all people in Ottawa to have safe, continuous, affordable housing. When one person or one family has a safe, adequate and affordable place to call home, their lives are dramatically changed. But when entire communities and cities like Ottawa provide housing and basic social services to the poor, the country is positively changed.
