UCW Fundraiser to Support Ukraine Humanitarian Assistance

UCW Zoom Fundraiser to Support Ukraine Humanitarian Assistance: Sunday, April 24 at 2pm.

Andrew Rader will speak on “Exploring Earth and the Solar System”, followed by a Q&A. Virtual tickets are $20/person BUT please feel free to give more for such a worthy cause! Funds raised will be donated via the United Church Mission and Service Fund to Ukraine humanitarian assistance.

Andrew has authored three children’s books on space. For more information, see andrew-rader.com. Andrew grew up in the Alta Vista area of Ottawa and attended Carleton University, receiving bachelor’s and master’s degrees in aerospace engineering. He also holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from MIT specializing in long-duration spaceflight.
