We are pleased to announce that we have found an experienced minister to provide Rideau Park with full-time pulpit supply ministry starting September 9, 2024. Rev. Jim Baldwin comes highly recommended and we look forward to him joining us in the fall. He will be with us for one year as we go through a period of discernment (strategic planning, Community of Faith profile, and transitional ministry) before making a call for permanent clergy. Rev. Jim’s primary responsibilities will be preaching Sunday mornings; holding funerals, weddings and baptisms; sitting on Council; limited pastoral visitation; and providing support and guidance to some of our committees.
