We are back! Rideau Park is delighted to announce that our traditional “Christmas Treasures Bazaar” will return in-house on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 1pm-4pm. There will be Books Galore, Baking, Jams, Deli Meals, Fine Handicrafts, Garden Alley, Kids’ Corner, Teen Town, Boutique Treasures, a Silent Auction, and the General Store will all be there to amaze you! A true scrounger’s paradise! After shopping until you drop (and PLEASE bring your own bags), refresh yourself with a cuppa tea, plated sandwich varieties, and sweet squares, and then redeem your tea room ticket for a complimentary book. See you there!

To make the bazaar a success, we need volunteers (see below).
BAKE AT HOME AND/OR COOK TOGETHER
Start early on anything that freezes well – it’s pumpkin and apple season! Prepare a new option for the bake table – unbaked frozen fruit pies (ideal for fall apples), prepare an extra pie (don’t bake it, just keep frozen at home).
Come join any of our deli cooking sessions (“Kitchen Capers”) taking place days and evenings in Bea’s Kitchen. No experience required – come on out, teens and busy parents too, we’ll have tasting samples! Here is our schedule, you can choose the day and time to match your schedule:
Wednesday, October 25 at 6:30pm: Shepherd’s Pie – traditional comfort food with a new twist. Email ckurz@rogers.com if you’re able to help.
Thursday, October 26 9am: Help is most needed with our traditional hot-seller, turkey pies. Email lisadler@hotmail.com if you can help.
FOR BAZAAR COUNT-DOWN WEEK (OCTOBER 30 to NOVEMBER 3)
